Paul's Tavern and Cabin in Belmar, NJ will be hosting the fourth concert of Hungerthon 2003 on November 29th at 7PM. Admission is $10.00 and includes two drink tickets. All proceeds benefit World Hunger Year,(WHY) a charitable 501(c)3 organization formed in 1975 by Bill Ayres and the late Harry Chapin. Hungerthon is WHY’s largest annual public outreach, broadcast during Thanksgiving week to more than 6 million people. To further WHY's mission of eradicating the root causes of hunger and poverty, funds are raised through radio and television auctions of rock memorabilia and entertainment packages, a series of concerts performed by both national and local acts, and corporate and individual donations. Additional information on WHY and Hungerthon is available at worldhungeryear.org. In addition to raising funds for WHY, we will also be collecting non perishable food items for Monmouth Food Bank - bring two items and receive $2.00 off of admission at the door. Concert information is available from Jason Dermer of 3D Productions at 732-616-3463 or 3dproductions@earthlink.net
