A frustrated, non-professional, for my entertainment only, type artist. I work almost exclusively in pencil and ink but have dabbled with oils and acrylics. My work has been featured in my portfolio for several years now. Someday I'll even show it to somebody. But for now let me say, if this was my career I'd be the starving artist without a doubt.

One of my earliest attempts at capturing some of the art work from Harry's LPs. This is a weird (and not perfect) pencil, charchol and water colors. This was my attempt at knocking-off the album cover for Verities & Balderdash
...then I played a bit with the style that was used on the Portrait Gallery album cover.
Then came On The Road To Kingdom Come and I did this on typing paper with a Flair pen in that style.
Then then I finally stole an image from On The Road To Kingdom Come
Finally, Legends Of The Lost And Found fold-out LP had a picture of an old man sitting on his guitar case and sneering at the artist. I always figured that when I was that age, I'd be doing the same thing.
Well, finally I've picked up a pencil again. This drawing-in-progress is from a photo I "snatched" off the 'net of Harry. Actually, the contrast of the black background and Harry's intense look is what made me select this picture to do a drawing of. I'm thinking, that if this turns out, I'd like to offer it to one of Harry's causes to auction, or duplicate and sell. Maybe just a dream, but I sometimes feel I don't do enough...
